ICDAR is the premier IAPR event in the field of Document Analysis and Recognition with 300 to 500 participants. The aim of this conference is to bring together international experts to share their experiences and to promote research and development in all areas of Document Analysis and Recognition. Any consortium interested in making a proposal to host an ICDAR should first familiarise themselves with the "Guidelines for Organizing and Bidding to Host ICDAR" document which is available on the TC10 and TC11 websites (www.iapr-tc10.org and www.iapr-tc11.org, respectively). A link to the most current version of the guidelines appears below: http://www.iapr-tc11.org/mediawiki/image/ICDAR_Guidelines_2011_04_04.pdf The submission of a bid implies full agreement with the rules and procedures outlined in that document. The submitted proposal must define clearly the items specified in the guidelines (Section 5.2). It has been the tradition that the location of ICDAR conferences follows a rotating schedule among different continents. ICDAR2011 was held in Beijing, China (Asia), and ICDAR2013 will be held in Washington, DC (the Americas), and ICDAR2015 will be held in Tunis, Tunisia (Europe/Africa). Hence, for ICDAR2017, proposals from Asia are strongly encouraged. However, high quality bids from other locations will also be considered. Proposals will be examined by the ICDAR Advisory Board. Valid bids will then be presented at the TC10/TC11 joint meeting held during ICDAR2013, where a ballot will be conducted to determine the winning bid. Proposals should be emailed to Prof. Koichi Kise at kise@cs.osakafu-u.ac.jp by June 1, 2013. ICDAR Advisory Board Prof. Jean-Marc Ogier (Chair, TC10) Prof. Koichi Kise (Chair, TC11) Prof. Simone Marinai (Chair, IAPR C&M Committee) Prof. Andreas Dengel (Past Organiser) Prof. Daniel Lopresti (Past Organiser) ============================================================================ ========== Call for Papers: EHASP 2013 ============================= International Workshop on Emerging Aspects on Handwritten Signature Processing (EAHSP 2013) Naples, Italy, September 9-10, 2013 Topic and Objectives ***************** The International Workshop on Emergent Aspects in Handwritten Signature Processing (EAHSP 2013) is a satellite event of ICIAP 2013 that will be held in Naples, Italy, September 9-10, 2013. EAHSP 2013 will provide a forum for researchers in all areas of dynamic and static signature processing and verification. In the following are reported some topics of interest: . Signature Analysis . On-line/Off-line signature processing . Forensic applications . Automatic Signature Verification . Laws and Regulations . Personal Identification, . Security Issue . Signature Generation Models . Signature Verification System Evaluation . Handwritten Signature Database . Signature Acquisition: Standards and Protocols . Signature for Disease Monitoring The scientific program of EAHSP 2013 will consist of one-track session with technical contributions peer-reviewed and selected by an international programme committee of leading experts in the fields. EAHSP 2013 invites original previously unpublished contributions that are not submitted concurrently elsewhere. All accepted papers will be published in the LNCS Springer's proceedings and the authors of accepted papers will be invited to present their work in the form of oral presentations. All papers and presentations will be in English. Submission format: Authors must follow the LNCS Springer's guidelines and technical instructions for paper preparation, as reported at the webpage. For your convenience, please consider that EAHSP2013 paper format is the same as for the ICIAP 2013 Main Conference. Therefore you cal also download and use the ICIAP2013 Author Kit. Please note that the manuscript length is 8 pages maximum.
