Welcome to the April edition of our TC11 newsletter. It is a pleasure for me
to announce that the TC-11 web site has been thoroughly renovated - thanks to
our Webmaster Masakazu Iwamura. See the new look for yourself at

and feel free to send us your comments and suggestions.

This newsletter also brings to you a new type of content, namely the IJDAR
Contents Telegram (kindly provided by Simone Mariani). It is intended as a
brief notification about the contents of current IJDAR issues. As this is a
new feature of our newsletter, please let me know whether you find this
service useful.

Furthermore, you will find below the deadlines for upcoming conferences
and an announcement of additional competitions to be held in conjunction
with ICFHR 2010 in Kolkata.
