Result of GB voting, by way of Karl Tombre: The Governing Board voting on the name change for Technical Committee 11 is now complete (the deadline for receiving the votes was January 12). Summary of the results of the majority vote on the name change of TC11 Voters: 51 Votes received by the deadline (January 12, 2001): 31 Required majority: 26 Votes in favor of the change of the TC11 name to "Reading Systems" 30 Votes against the change of the TC11 name to "Reading Systems" 0 Abstentions on the change of the TC11 name to "Reading Systems" 1 Majority has been secured on the change of the TC11 name to "Reading Systems". -o-o-o- This is very good news!
